Head of Corporate Landlord - City of Wolverhampton Council
Tim is responsible for implementing and managing the Corporate Landlord service delivery model at the City of Wolverhampton Council. The associated broad range of in-house and externally procured property and construction related consultancy services and facilities management functions, support the city’s diverse portfolio of operational, commercial, leisure and educational land and property. Operationally Tim is responsible for overseeing the commissioning, coordination and delivery of key capital projects, whilst leading on transformational service improvement programmes. Prior to his current role Tim gained extensive experience in delivering a wide range of award winning urban regeneration projects and initiatives, many delivered through collaborative working with private sector, voluntary and third sector organisations and strategic partnerships.
Strategically Tim is responsible for asset management planning across the City of Wolverhampton Council, in particular delivery of rationalisation, optimisation and investment programmes, stock condition, energy conservation and life cycle costing; necessary for the authority to make informed decisions on effectively managing its property portfolio. Tim’s interest in the wider strategic context formally extended to representing Constructing Excellence on the Cabinet Office Infrastructure UK Joint Benchmarking Data Working Group and is a committee member for Black Country Constructing Excellence supporting careers in construction. He is a keen advocate of modern methods of construction, procurement and collaborative working and is particularly interested in developing the role of the informed client.
